Almost every home in Southeast Queensland has a garage door and they are one of the largest moving objects in the home. By regularly having your garage door serviced by an experienced technician you can ensure that your garage door is operating safely and efficiently.

Here are some Garage Door Safety Tips for Parents and Children

Garage doors and motors are not toys
Make sure the garage door remotes are out of reach of children and do not let them play with the remote controls or wall buttons
Do not stand or play under a moving garage door
Keep hands and fingers away from sectional joins, hinges, tracks, springs and other garage door parts
Parents can test your garage door motor safety features regularly, such as force settings
