Can I automate my existing garage door?

 

Yes. We can install a motor to a majority of existing garage doors.

What hours does Adept Garage Doors and Gates work?

 

Adept Garage Doors and Gates provides services between 7am and 5pm Monday - Friday, with emergency services provided 24hrs 7 days a week.

What payment methods does Adept Garage Doors and Gates accept?

 

We accept payment by cash, EFTPOS, credit card (Visa/Mastercard only), cheque or direct bank transfer. Technicians carry a mobile EFTPOS machine so payment can be made upon completion of service.

What should I consider when buying a new garage door?

 

When choosing a new garage door it is important to consider the following:

  • Quality – Your garage door is the largest moving object and entry point in your home and the quality of the garage door, fittings and security features

  • Safety – Ensure the garage door has safety features to suit your needs. It is recommended for all automatic garage doors to be fitted with PE beams, which automatically stops the door closing onto an object

  • Insulation or non-insulation – Benefiting with climate temperatureAppearance – Matching the garage door to the appearance and architectural design to your home

  • Warranty – Be sure to understand the warranty you are getting with your garage door and what is covered. It is crucial to annually service your garage door every year to keep the life of the parts and the manufacturer’s warranty

How many remotes come with an operator?

Most operators provided come with two remotes and one wall button. Some existing wall buttons can be rewired to new operators.
